You could sub-class the windows handler for MapInfo in a C DLL. Your
program would need to look at all keyboard messages and let through D
for digitiser S for snap ( and probably everthing else) but dont let
through escape.

their contents ( and edit them etc). The old 16 bit version had a
seperate utility called APPSTUDIO that did the same for 16 bit DLLs.

the table, open the .tab in a text editor and look for any differences
between the syntax in this and that in your MapBasic statement. This may
give you a clue?

instead of trying to convert the non-earth tab files which I guess doesn't

I thought because I was setting up a custom projection, the arclink_map
sun program wouldn't work because you don't have a mapinfo

It did. The TAB files had:

and universities in the United States? Ideally the table would have
some sort of enrollment data. If I can find some free data I'll be sure

tables (among 50 users and with 600 Mb data and 9 Gb raster images) since
