There is a free SEGY Viewer available from Encom Technology
(www.encom.com.au). I'm not sure if this will let you save off as raster but
you can certainly print from it.

Hi Roy,
This is where specialist image processing software such as ER Mapper comes
in. ER Mapper treats every "image" as a grid, thus allowing all types of
operations such as complex filtering, classifications, raster->vector
polygons, statistics, 3d views etc.

I've never had a problem with any of the GIS DataDepot's .e00 files, ArcLink
always translates them just fine. The only stipulation I've found is that if
you download a boundary file called "ponet.e00," you *can't* rename the
file, otherwise ArcLink won't translate it. I have no idea why this is,
Great idea. Needs a couple of steps though. First is the creation of the
needed reference gird and color numberization. Next you need a "clumping"
tool to define areas of adjacent color. Lastly you need a raster to vector
conversion if raster while faster is not as corrector

able to import them into MapInfo.
The files are downloaded as ponet.e00 files but the
Arcmap translator reports errors and aborts, and a co-worker with the translator
included with MI5.5 can't rea
