LameBatch should do the job ... it's a front end onto the lame
encoder/decoder and I'm pretty sure it can do this sort of thing. You'll
probably need to do it in two passes though, first time through converting
all the mp3s into .wav files and then reconverting the .wav files
A bit off topic, as Minidisc is only the last link in the chain:

Who would want to listen to MP3s anway. MD is so much
more wonderful, and so much sexier.
Well, I am certainly NOT a supporter of MP3, but it does have some nice
perks, such as (1) being able to find foreign music without paying
exorbatant prices, and (2) getting the music for free (honest

Just listening to this JM Glover track, PrineGaz - is this you? I can't
rememeber where I saw the mp3.com url for these tracks (but i think it was
you), if so - I love this track :P Nice and soothing, good choice of
