Eject and reinsert the disc; or since your model is a Sony portable with an
END SEARCH key, press END

When I told Brian how he could skip to the start of a disc in a Sony
MZ-R700, Mike commented,

Neither does the alternative of ejecting and reinserting the disc, which
also can't be done from the remote.

I am highly intrigued by this problem. I was convinced that I was just

I am highly intrigued by this problem. I was convinced that I was just
being thick for not working out how to do it. Surely the logical
way of doing it would be to push and hold the jog on the remote to go
all the way to the beginning or the end. Thats what you do to
seek on my G750's radio.
Well, I've had my first ever MD player/recorder for a few days now. I was
in a pretty big hurry to get it my hands for a looong motorcycle trip I
took this past weekend and I wanted the tunes to keep me company. That
didn't work out so well, unfortunately. Not enough volume, and the
speakers
