MD: Skipping of home recorded discs

The exact same thing happened with one of my previous portable players. Eventually I went for another model, and it went away. The skipping is not normal. I have only found it on one recorder, and never again. Gerard Naude E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hmm, MiniDisc cases that slide onto your belt can be got from Dixions, I've got mine here, it's called Swordfish and made out wet suit stuff ;). Mines for my Sharp 722, have a look at your local one and see if they have one. Peter. -- "We do not ask for money, only knowledge." -- Me. Peter

Wouldn't you just use any pouch of that kind (choose one that's the size you need, of course)? I didn't think the "belt" reference was talking about any MD-specific "belts". Just a generic (whatever you call them!?) bumbags? pouches? Leon That is why they sell the belts that you can put a MD

Hi there, JR Moore and the others are right. On a post not too long ago, I mentioned how leaving a MD player in your trouser pockets will make it skip, regardless of its capabilities. If you'd rather keep it in your pocket, try this. Do things so that the MD player doesn't wobble around in

It sounds like maybe the sled that carries the optical block could be sticking at the inner end of it's travel. It could also be temperature related - extreme cold or heat causing more errors... It's probably worth taking it back to Sony and explain that it is still not fixed and emphasis the
