I'm with Werner on this one. My 1987 300TD has the same tandem Vickers pump (pumping both steering fluid in one section AND the self leveling fluid in the other) that's in Constantine's car. Mine came with ATF in it when the car was new has has been run on ATF since. The steering box was reseal
