How about checking the fuel pickup strainer in the tank? Or check to make sure that the fuel feed hoses under the hood are not switched sround. This used to be fairly common to have happened. If the return line was now the feed line, you'd have a problem getting enough fuel when your tank

If it's a 114/115 and it has AC, it's probably a Behr add-on. If that's the case and the AC blower works, but not the heater blower, then prepare for an experience that is second to none, save a 124 evaporator swap, maybe (I've never done one of those, but I've seen it done. It wasn't pretty.)

Word on the street is that Bosch plugs are crap these days. Also you have to be careful what type of plug you put in a Merc, a lot of the early ones need a _*non*_ resistor type of plug because the resistor is built into the ignition leads and you may well end up with too much resistance. Also

I have had no luck at all with the Bosch Platinum plugs. I had a set in our 4Runner and took them out after a short while because it just did not run right. I went to the dealer and got the Nippon Denso plugs that were less expensive than the Bosch and it was back to normal as soon as I put them
