The very first thing I do when a Benz suffers from unseen coolant
loss or running too hot is to replace the radiator cap -- they will
boil on stopping, forcing coolant out into the overflow tank, where
it will not be drawn back in by the faulty cap, eventually spilling

Slime stays slimy, thats the point I think. It floats around in your tires
until it finds a hole which it then fills.
Fix-a-flat makes a think plastic like seal around the inside of the tire. The
only reason I use it over slime is that its a handy inflator too. As others

Be careful when/if you ever change that tire, or mark it as such -- some
of those sealants are pressurized with butane or something similar, and
tend to explode when a spark hits it. Some kid was killed a year or two
ago changing a tire that had that stuff in it, thing blew up in his face.

with two blue dots) but the book (job 22-211) shows a different right-side

ratchet extensions on hand (various lengths). Have quality hex "allen
wrench" type sockets to fit the screws in the mounts (the top screws are
smaller than the bottom screw). Have some penetrating oil (PB Blaster,

My advice, for what it is worth, is to always assume that things will take a
lot longer than they should. Then, if
things go well, you have a bonus and if they don't you won't be too
disappointed.
