I use the ABS on snowy or rain soaked pavement every few months to ensure it
works. I have yet to have it engage in a panic stop. As far as airbags go, I
think a sharpened spike in its place would be more effective at accident
prevention. Lol :-) JK

I've used the ABS once, and I'm convinced it allowed me to pull back
onto the highway and keep traveling once I was sure everyone in front
of me that had damage was OK and the police had been called.
Ambulance was there already, they cruise the highways in Cincinatti it
seems.
