Check both valves. My car had a half-a** job: The top valve was R-134, while the bottom was still R-12. Go figure. Since I am having compressor issues (hopefully just a clutch), I may flush the system and put the R-12 valve back on. I want to use Freeze 12 instead of 134. Jon On Apr 3, 20

The R107 probably is heavier than a W126. The W126 was the first chassis with high strength, thinner steel. I'd guess the W126 s around 2700 pounds sitting in the drive and the R107 is 3200 or so. It would be OK with a 603, but I don't think of a 300SDL as a fast car, particularly. Nice
