The only real question is fuel resistance. Otherwise a standard o-
ring should work, it's just a seal for a low pressure system.

Thanks Peter! I have a box of several hundred assorted o-rings, bought
from some store a few years ago -- should I get one from the dealer

possible to one in my assorted box? seems like "close" would work in
this case if

The steering shock is the other consumable - at least check it if you don't
just replace it while you're under there.

My vote is for the distributor cap. There could be moisture in/on it
causing the cross-firing that you are describing.
I used to have to clean off the cap on my MGA (when it was stock) with a
carbon tet fire extinguisher if the humidity was high.

I bought a 32" Samsung "Smart" LED TV (1080dpi) for around $340 from
Walmart mailorder, but took it back because my old daily computer didn't
have HDMI and the TV didn't have a VGA port.

While you are poking around, check the idler arm on the passenger

Lost emails? Isn't that what we have the new NSA facility in Utah for?
Mercedes content: How do I access that data base to recover discussions
about Mercedes mechanical issues in the past? Seems that would be a
valuable public use of such a data base.

This is a common issue, just like the leak at the lift pump connection

Hi Gang,
I have a very small leak that seems to be coming from the end of
the fuel thermostat. If (like me) you never heard of this before, I'll
try to explain where it is. The fuel line comes out of the chassis and
into the small, plastic, in-line fuel pre-filter.A hose comes out of
