One note of warning to all:
DO NOT USE CLEANERS WITH SILICONE IN OR AROUND THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT!
Silicone will damage the sensing components in the MAF on these cars.
Everything you see in that engine compartment that was plastic was cleaned with
nothing more than soap and water,
I love the color. When detailing the engine bay, did you remove the
plastic covers to clean them?

morning and applied MB weatherstripping lube to all of the seal

at the church. We skipped it, as we didn't feel like spending our wedding
night in the local jail.
I'm not criticizing, by any means. Their idea of a "fun time" and mine just

Injectors: This head has pre-chambers which require the later style
"inclined" injectors (NA35X). I exchanged a set of used NA36X injectors,
which I no longer need as they fit the original head, with Tim Crone. Tim
took them from Wilton's dead 126 engine. I sent the "new" injectors to a
gentlem
I've begun installing a #17 head on my '87 wagon. Attached the exhaust
manifold (new copper nuts), placed the head onto the block (new MB head
gasket, made by Elring) and bolted it down.
I did re-use the head bolts, after measuring each one to make sure they
were within the FSM specified toleranc
