I know you have some 123 wagons, so I hope you are being funny!
I would really like to have a bunch of the old MB's. Obviously any of the

I think it is a matter of what one is clearing and what the wind is doing.
I usually don't turn either. It just seems easier to shift into reverse
and walk it backwards.
I don't have a big area to clear and am limited in terms of where I can
blow the snow so maybe that is an issue too.

I fail to see the charm in the early 70s 220 or 250 sedans. The MB Tex and
ghastly black dashes stink over time, probably due to a stale cigarette
smoke. The body style is boxy and inelegant. They drive OK and are easy
to work on, but so what? Their appreciation as a "classic" is, IMHO,

I think the 220s were dropped in the US by '72.
It could also be a RTW car, that was later brought into the USA.
Not all 220s were in 111 bodies. There were Pontons, unimogs,
Heckflosse, and /8, 123 an
I thought it was $2000 for all them.

Could it be a 250? My 71 250 had wood on the dash, I don't remember whether
it had the double bumper. Mine also had the shifter in the center console and
it didn't have the indicator on the dash.

I would think this could actually be a good deal. Someone with the time,
space, and skill could spend some sweat equity and they would come up with two
240D's and a parts car.

Remember that there is no differential in the snowblower, both wheels
turn together. Turning around requires macho snowblower dragging
strength and skill.
My Ariens _has_ a real differential. There's a pin to lock it,
if you want. I never do, having the diff is _so_ much better
than not. You

Its an Ariens snowblower, 24" cut which is small but I think its an 8hp engine
