At the rear of the transmission rear housing, there is a single wire whose connector goes straight forward into the transmission next to the left bottom bolt for the tailshaft back seal housing. Anyone know what this wire does? How to take off the connector? It has 2 flats, so looks like it

Time Machine will not restore a home folder if it’s not on a boot drive. That goes for a system that was backed up using TM that has a relocated home folder. You need to relocate the home folder before you attempt to use Migration Assistant, just like in the steps I outlined below. Dan > On

Have you replaced or upgraded the memory? I ask because this is probably the most common problem on installs if the memory has been changed out at the same time. Might not be a bad idea to remove and reseat it just for grins. You shouldn’t have any problems with the install if you’re doing it
