Sounds like you need to try cleaning up the screws holding the fuse down, but carry a few spare fuses. I'm not convinced that is the entire problem. Check the wiring between the relay and the glow plugs to see if any of the insulation is damaged. Maybe repeat the resistance check while flexing t
