I’m not contesting your estimate which may very well be realistic, but I don’t,
however, feel that a lack of V8 motor matters here. More like lack of fuel
injection. In my opinion, the unique interior is a plus!

I agree that it's a stunning car, meticulously restored. I just don't feel
that sort of money is realistic for a non-v8 sedan with AT on the column,
unique interior upholstery and manual windows. I also suspect it has a
manual antenna.
Mid $20s is my guess.

Reboring an engine doesn’t affect originality or value. In this instance, the
high quality of the mechanical restoration will drive the value way up in my
opinion. Jaime brought this car to ChowdahQ last year and it was a stunner. He

Yeah it looks fairly straight unless that is a cheap respray and no telling

Our daughter had a mini-split system installed in their 1900 house that

OK. However, it sounds like a motel unit to me - way too loud. We much
prefer our central geo-thermal unit, the large slow turning fan is much
quieter,

Aha! Brand name, type, and costs! How about the cooling spec?
The mini split is the one I bought for my house 6 years ago.
It sat here mostly unused for a while after I put in a central heat pump, then
I moved it to my parent's house in 2016. Had to recharge it a couple of weeks

Wonder how hard it would be to drop in a 617 or something else.

The outside condenser unit has the charge. You install the units, hook
up your lines, pull a vacuum and make sure they are tight, then open up
the spigot to charge the system. He did a nitrogen purge then pulled
the vac again. On the larger unit I put in my guy did put in a bit more

I ordered my mini-splits from some place in Florida but they don't carry
them anymore. They are LGs and apparently LG are impossible to deal
with so a lot of dealers are dropping them. Mitsubishis are supposedly
better units and easier to get but they are a bit more expensive. There

My parents bought one a couple of years ago.
One of the single hose models that isn't supposed to work as well.
It does the job, but they can see it on the electric bill.
I think it's 10k btu, but it doesn't do as much work as a 9k btu 23SEER
mini-split and uses more electricity.
