[MBZ] 190D tranny out, now I need a torque converter

Well, got the tranny out of the 190D finally, but in the process one of the tabs on the TC broke. Or shall I say, a small piece of it. Thinking it might still work, or even try JB weld on it, but I REALLY dont want to have to do this job twice, so I would rather put one on that is not broken.

OK, here is a pic of the piece that broke off. Im trying to picture which way the engine turns in relation to the converter. In other words, does it turn so the tab on the tranny is pushing against the non broken part of the converter? What do you all think, this thing still useable? AFter

OK, Im trying to picture this in my mind, so the engine turns CW from the front, which would mean CCW from the back, right? So the back side of the converter would also be turning CCW, so the one tab would be engaged, the other tab on the broken side would in fact not be pushing on the non-bro
