I notice the lights on top of the front fenders on the restored car are not
the same as in the other photos of allegedly the same car.

I don't know too much of the history of the car. It was a basket-case

I have heard that the supercharger engagement was quite dramatic --
it was electrically switched just like the kickdown switch. 98 to
137 hp at the click of a switch had to be fun.
My mechanic friend's stepfather aquired Rommel's staff car in the
late 40's as a junker, but it ran long enoug
That is SWEET! Overhead cam I suppose? I love long straight engines --
don't know why though.

1935. The flex discs are a little strange. They're really big and
pretty soft and compliant. They seem way too fragile to hold up, but
I must have missed the background story on this carany chance for a
repeat? Absolutely gorgeous!
Does it always have so much positive camber? Scary!
