Gentlemen,
I've enjoyed this talk about Frenchdiesels and, as the owner of a Peugeot
306 TD I must say that they are very good. The 504, 505 are antiques now and
not indicative of current French designs.
The Citroen C1, C2, C3's here are gorgeous, well built and efficient. The
newer 206, 207,

Renault Alliance scored in worst ratings in Engine, Clutch,
Driveline, Engine
I seem to remember an Alliance rental car in Chicago soemwhere around
1986-7. Me and a friend called it the Defiance since pushing the gas
pedal down got you nothing but attitude in exchange.
This was a relatively new car (less than 5000 miles), and it was
already falling apart.

I think I'm in love with the idea of owning a French car; not so sure I ever

The 604 is one of the least attractive, most pedestrian Pugs ever produced. It
has the added distinction of being part of the reason for Citroen's departure
from our shores: apparently Peugeot (which bought Citroen in 1975) felt that
the stunning new Citroen CX would threaten the pending 604's
I've seen a few 504's go up for sale on craigslist from time to time, and
I've thought about purchasing one. Some say that the 504 is ugly, but I
prefer to call it slightly different. While growing up, there was a
neighbor a few houses down who had 4 504's, 3 being Diesels. He and his
wife

Renault Alliance scored in
