I seem to remember an Alliance rental car in Chicago soemwhere around 1986-7. Me and a friend called it the Defiance since pushing the gas pedal down got you nothing but attitude in exchange. This was a relatively new car (less than 5000 miles), and it was already falling apart. Gary Thompson
