I think their Dodge Coronet wagon was built either 4:59 Friday afternoon or

road today, it's probably a good one. That rear-facing rear seat was nice
to have! It was replaced by a '75 Ford Torino Wagon complete with wood
Hold on now! You may have had issue, but my folks had one and it
lasted for 10 years in superb condition. I do not think it went to
the shop for any repairs from the time the dealer sold it until it
was sold to some vato that did horrible things to it. Worst that
ever happened was a rock

either electrical or mechanical screw ups monthly. Paid for the shop
owner's boat and fishing expeditions with that car.

My Father-in-law bought his "Last" car in 1974. He had just retired and felt
that he must be frugal.
The result was the "Special Edition" 1974 Mercury Monarch, stick, tiny 6cyl, no

My parents had a 1973 Dodge Coronet Wagon that had nothing but problems!
The ignition system was temperamental at best either bucking and serging, or
refusing to start. It went through a couple of ignition modules which only
helped for a short time. It leaked like a sieve, so throughout the ra

Great little green car but it had this habit of having an epileptic seizure
at 60 mph -- where it would suddenly lose power and just about throw
everyone through the front windshield. Never did figure out if it was spark

It was also one of my most fun cars

few problems. My wife would buy another one in a minute.

I had to think about this a second as I've had all pretty good cars. The worst
would have been my '81 300TD.
I bought it for $300 which is exactly what it was worth. I wasn't capable of
doing very many repairs myself so it cost me a mint with my Indy and was a
basket case from beginning to end.

Worst car my parents owned was probably a '77 Buick Opel (rebadged
izuzu). Would do about 60 wide open in 4th gear with the motor
screaming. Also very prone to rust despite (o
This is not just for Mercedes. What is the worst car you have ever owned?
My worst was my first car. It was decent car when my brother bought it, but he
wore it out and ruined it. I bought it from him for $200 in 1988. It was a
