Only once have I had a pull-start NOT fire the engine, and the temp was -25F. Didn't take a Marshall to understand that the problem involved ice in places that the engineers never intended ice to form. Ok, skeptics will ask for the quantity of data points. The answer is six, five successful.

Unless the body is VERY VERY clean and interior is VERY VERY nice a 240 is not worth putting an engine in unless you have them laying around like I do. As for the seized engine, assuming one of the assesories is not in fact frozen up, it had to have been run out of oil, the chain came loose so
