feather stubs that went through the skin. In the end I skinned it, got most of
the meat off and maybe I'll try again next time...

My mom always used to make roast goose for Christmas dinner. Store-bought
though, not wild. Delicious, but fairly expensive compared to a turkey.

Canada goose shot last Saturday.
The meat is way more like red meat then any other poultry. Angie sears it in a
cast iron pan and then finishes it in the oven. These breasts were from an
older goose so they were kinda tough. We should have pounded them a little
