Hi All,
I know that 2004 E320 4matic doesn't come with an oil dip stick but I read
that one could be purchased so I researched and bought one that was supposed to
work. I chose one made by a company named Kommen - Model #KM808-M. I changed
the oil a few days ago and completely drained
I think the number is 120589072100?
When did you check the oil? Straight after running it?
If so there will be oil all over the engine that needs to drain back.

And I take it the car was parked level?
This dipstick is for various engines so there are different instructions
for different engines?
From what I can see there are two possibilities, either the dipstick is
wrong or the oil level is low.
I don't think this company would go to the trouble of

My 1999 goes from 'OK' to 'add 1.0 quart'. The next stages are 'add 1.5 quarts'
and 'add 2.0 quarts'. When it hits add 2.0 going down the road,
I suspect the system may be a bit more advanced than the earlier ones.
Which only tell you if the oil falls below a certain level.

Turn the key to 'on' but not to 'start', and leave it that way for 30 seconds or
so until it says
