No. Same glass. Old seal was leaking so I replaced with new MB seal. Quality
independent shop. I've used them for years.

here. If it breaks I have to pay for a new one. doesn't make
sense to me.

Make sure the drains in the wells are open (they get clogged up easily)
so whatever gets in will drain out.
The water is probably coming in around the rear window "seals" at the
corners, or you are getting corrosion that is letting in water, or some
combination of the two. This is happening o

I agree with the rear window, I had this same issue on my '78 240D. A quick
seal with flowable silicone fixed it.
