The transplanted 606 keeps draining its battery when parked. Slowly, but still fast enough to drain it in a week or two. Is there a logical way to track where the current is going, analogous to troubleshooting vacuum leaks? Otherwise I am just going to buy a disconnect for it. _

Anything from HF with more than one moving part is likely to fail sooner rather than later. That said, I bought one of their big wet tile saws, and was quite pleased with it. It took some occasional "maintenance" but it did very well. And the $20 recip saw is still going strong, surprisingly

Yes, a torque coverter getting stuck in low slip mode will drag badly in high gear. I'd bet on waxy fuel, though. Change the filters, and check the pre-filter -- if black, you have algae and need to clean out the tank, you're due. Peter
