Yep, that's a Gremlin X. First gen, before they updated the rear hatch.
My sister almost died in a Gremlin in 1974. Failed to yield to a 60mph Buick and
took it right in the drivers' door.
I had a girlfriend back when who had one in the lime-ish green color,
she called it Lima Bean.

Now, if you can find a Pacer you could own 2 of the ugliest cars ever made.

I love the front bench - waaay too old and wonderful.
Plus, floor mount 3 speed sounds a wonderful car - I like it.

they couldn't even manage to make both [Pacer] doors the same size.
I really wanted a Pacer, back then. My brother used one
as his wedding getaway vehicle. Had it rigged with an oil
bottle to blow lots of smoke, and they climbed into the
windows.

One reason the Pacer was so ugly was its weird proportions, which I think
were actually well-intentioned---the designers tried to make a small car
And a belt too. And with moobs.

Debbie Wonko needs that car. It's only fifty miles from Jefferson, too.
I wonder what Donnie Wonky's Christmas budget looks like?

Not cheap if the transmission is going. The 4 matics from that vintage (1999
- 2001) are real money pits..
