I have a demo that has a great deal of functionality in Metacard. This is
great for demonstration purposes, however it requires a presenter to walk
through it. I would like to automate the 'walk through' process; record all
of the mouse movements and mouse clicks and turn it into a Macro. Then I c
of each
end mouseUp
etc.
as for spaces between column text, there is probably an elegant way of
scripting it.. however for my purposes I just put an underscore character
"_" between words.

Richard,
I hope you are right...the web and HTML has set back user interface design
back at least 5 years. My dream is to see the rich interactive interface
that MC provides either in or outside a browser window.

A number of us took the "advanced flash" course which covers programming
interactivity. It is extremely convoluted and cumbersome to create simple
interactions i.e. widget based. Even our seasoned programmers came out
shaking their heads. .. It is great for simple animations however.

As far as her complaint that the scripting language is too much like english

I have run into the same problem on both Mac & PC. It seems the only way to
guarantee your files don't get overwritten, is to copy or back them up on
the desktop (outside of MC).

it coughs if it encounters non-image files. (that multi-select thing would
