WE got jolted out of bed this morning at 7:08 by what they are now reporting
as a 6.3 magnitude earthquake, about 18 miles from Kailua-Kona on the Big
Island. There was another quake about 7 minutes afterwards, about 5.8, and
18 or so aftershocks so far, mostly too small for us to feel here.
The latest is that they are not paired by three independent laboratories,
talk to Dr. Irving about this if you do not believe me. David, you are the
one that reported Dr. Bunch's statement that they were NOT paired to the
