Here is what I am aiming at for the telecine, from various inputs, mostly
Steven Schultz and Steven Boswell, thanks for their time and patience (they

I've intalled Cygwin with the option "All install".
After unpacking MjpegTools I changed into the directory, and type
./configure.
After a couple of minuter configure stops with this:
./configure: line 27599: syntax error near unexpected token `fi'
./configure: line 27599: `fi'
