When you are taking digital pictures of posters so
that you can include them in your eBay, Movieposterbid, etc. auctions, WHICH
SETTINGS ON THE CAMERA do you use? My guess is 640 x 480 at a superfine
setting, but I might be wrong on this. Obviously, those who want to hid
personally I take the images with the HIGHEST resolution setting. Then
readjust the size (same time adjust colour balance and cropping etc) in
Photoshop.
If you take the BESt shot first you cant go wrong, its not going to work if
you need to enlarge for whatever reason if you start small.

I was always told that this is the best size for
the internet. That is why you don't need a real expensive digital camera
with tons of megapixels for Ebay.

oops what i meant was Take the image big, but reduce to smaller for the
auction. Then keep the big one, on your computer for easy access to a larger
image if needed.

I suppose I could take photos at 3 settings (small, medium, and
large), but that could take an enormous amount of time as the
numbers of posters increases (not to mention all the resetting on
the camera).
As others have mentioned, you don't need to take anything but a
relatively high resolution

and adjust resolution as needed, saving hi res for those interested. I have
Photoshop CS2 (but don't really know how to use it yet) and Photohop

image (like Photo Paint, Photo Shop, or dozens of others), then 640x480
pixels with the finest quality setting is the best way to go for use on the
