Just saw this ad today from Swann. Only 139 posters - but all depict a damsel

curious about how one-sheets to The Lady Eve, Double Indemnity and the

price, there are still *HUNDREDS *of the 465 posters that are still at joke
prices, and *HUNDREDS *of those are way under the cost of linenbacking

Hi all,
I have a shipping related question.
As you all probably know, the USPS has decided to cancel their Media Mail
services, or this is what I hear.
I would like to know how best to send a 3-lb hardcover book to Europe.
Please let me know.
Thank you.
Lumi
My ONLY method for international shipping:
USPS express mail ... it is expensive, but it is FAST, and requires signature
delivery. BTW ... I have never had a package lost, stolen, damaged (as yet).

Howdy y'all,
When any member ships to an international customer ... do you insure for full
value and state full value for customs purposes?
I am always asked if I will declare a nominal value on the item, so that the
international buyer does not have to pay the value added tax (VAT).
Sooo ...
Well, the trick is getting customers to pay for the premium of Express Mail
International. I usually charge the average for priority and if the item is
worth $400 or more I spring for the extra for Express.

FYI ...
Insurance purchased is only good IN the US, once it is overseas, your insurance
is no longer valid, regardless of circumstance.
Some international customers state noted higher values is another reason for
the undervaluing ... because they do not trust their own postal service.

in case any dealers or other sellers have a differing philosophy:
if I ship a package to anyone that is insured and it gets damaged or

It is not the buyer's duty to see their package arrives undamaged, it

Hi, Lumi,
As long as it's not over 4 pounds, you don't have to fill out a special

USPS also has large Priority boxes that can be ordered online. Believe
me, you can fit a ton of posters in them and a package that would cost $35 to

Australia Post has just raised the minimum package weight for international

that. This means that many

Hi, Rich,
I'm just saying that USPS offers a large Priority box I wasn't even
aware of until I stumbled into one at the Post Office. Only good if you have
a
large quantity of folded posters/lobby cards to send to one location...
if I'm sending one poster, it goes in that box Rick, which is a
S-1095 size and is the only USPS box that will fit posters
add 2 pieces of cardboard, lobby card bag and biodegradable peanuts
