OK, after a year of waiting, I saw Peter Jackson's version of KING
KONG the other night... 3 hours never went by so fast. I have mixed reactions,
but it is *definitely* something that must be seen on the big screen with the
big surround-sound systems. I'll hold off on a full review for
sed.
I'll look forward to hearing what you thought of
it.

I don't think so, but it triggers my own question. I have this piece of
something. I think it's the top of a '38 window card looking at the art and
letter type, but I'm not sure as the lettering is designed differently from the
onesheet art.

Based on the image in the pressbook, it certainly looks like the top half of a
'38 window card. The type doesn't differ from the one sheet all that much other
than the G's being shortened a little and the outline changed to white.

I took my 6 year old on opening night and
gave him a warning that Kong dies since he is a huge animal lover, then I am
the one with a couple tears rolling down and he is just sitting there watching
like any other scene.
I enjoyed the film immensely. It kept my
sons interest for 3 h
se the box office because frankly, it is such an exhausting ride for 3 hours that I think it hurting the multiple viewings. All in all, I love it. out to see KONG this weekend, so I'm going to stick to holding off on a
