Is your work available somewhere? I would like to test and provide
some help if possible. I've had hope last year about VC9+ support with
mpir but 2.3.x has dropped VC9 build, which is a no go for our php

A little notice about php using mpir, as of php 5.3 (and later), the
gmp (http://www.php.net/gmp) extension supports MPIR on Windows (x86
and x64). MPIR is used now for all binaries we provide instead of gmp.
PHP 6 will certainly support MPIR on all platforms (allow one to build
