More information - the source of the '254' connections is the MQ queue manager MAXHANDS attribute. When we raised it, we immediately were able to run more transactions before encountering exceptions. The new number we could run exactly matched the new MAXHANDS value, minus 2. We tried explicitly

I just discovered that when my developer built his VB app, he built an installer. Which copies several MQ dlls (and several other system dlls) into his application directory. Which means he was executing with CSD00 levels of mqm.dll mqic32.dll, and CSD05 levels of everthing else. Recipe for

Greg, it's not about table names. They are all the same no matter how many brokers you create. Only the entries in the tables are related to individual brokers. You certainly don't want to put your database as remote as Alaska if your brokers are in Orlando. I hope it make sense. Benjamin F.
