Lynn,
yes, on z/OS i had a queuemanager that was leaving the cluster every time it was restarted.
After removing the alter qmgr cluster(' ') from csqinp2 everything worked well again :-)
it was to obvious to find it.

Dave, Yes - MSCS would be ideal but apparently our SAN people won't allow it. I need
to find out why.
Peter,
That is true what you say but I don't think a domain user would help here. The problem
seems to be that when the directories and files are created on the shared
Sounds good to me, as long as it is free and there is no risk of losing the archive.

In light of all the problems
Well, it must be my lucky week because I have found a very weird bug
in SupportPac MS0B. It has to do with non mqm accounts doing a PCF
command to get queue attribute information via client mode connection.
I believe the problem is with the SupportPac rather than WMQ.

Thanks very much

We are running MQIPT 1.31 (WebSphere internet pass-thru )on a W2k box between two other servers and in the iptmain.trc file of MQIPT I see this message:

I had
opened an ETR with IBM about the format of the trace files from MQIPT earlier
this year. I was told the format is "undocumented". If you do find some
documentation, please let me (us)know.

That would be bad for me as we are blocked from anything Yahoo
related at our proxy server. I can read but can't reply, which would be akin
to one hand clapping.

I use both - but mostly the list server. I prefer to keep the email

As far as I know Brandon (the owner of MQSeries.net) is already looking
at converting the MQSeries ListServ Archive into MQSeries.net database.
Don't know the status of this item :-(

Peter,
you certainly can't put the '' directly into your script, it will be
considered as a parameter by the trigger monitor.
You can however, create another script that is triggered, but that script

With regard to using MSCS, apparently it is not supported for geographically
dispersed clusters on Windows 2000.
Hmm, how does everyone else replicate MQ data to their remote disaster recovery sites?

Are you using MSCS on Windows 2000 (or NT)? 20 miles seems pretty geographically
dispersed to me! Microsoft appear to be telling us this isn't supported unless you're
using Win 2003 (although it clearly works!)

Hi
Thanks Paul and all who responded. The issue is probably within our proxy server. As I
had mentioned, I have been able to download many support pacs in the past but my guess
is that a change has been made to our proxy (surprise, I wasn't told :) that has
effected my ability to download

Krishan,
Nastel's Event PubSub is just doing exactly what you
need. It peaks events and publishes them to
subscribers queues. It is oriented specifically on MQ
events and has some extra functionality.
