Wasn't that Eric Esselink? I recently found some documents, downloaded ten
years ago from a MSX BBS, with notes by him about fixing the problem with
the Elektuur expander. (it's fun browsing through all of those 200+ of my

The Elektuur version is not made to the MSX
Hi,
I'm about to replace R428 and R429 on my NMS8250 with the described
elco's from the MSX FAQ to fix the sound when used with a FMPAC.. The
problem is that I can't seem to locate the resistors... Can anybody
give me a hint on where to look ??

The Elektuur version is not made to the MSX standard.
By the way, more MSX developments that were published by Elektuur
suffered from serious problems. There is a signal on the MSX cartridge
connector that is called BUSDIR. On some computers this is not a problem.
This signal controls the databus

The library in Tilburg keeps Elektuurs only 10 years... The Elektuur MSX
project book is also not available anymore. Maybe it's time (if not too
late) to start collecting all hardware articles and schematics

I don't think Jos will suffer from a bit of rain falling in NL ;-)
