I have ben trying to install MySQL v4 for Linux on a machine that had a previous v3 installed badly. I have removed all of the old v3 or so I thought. When I try and put the new v4 on it says that it cannot do this as there is still a v4 on the machine. What can I do to overide? Michael Johnson
