Hi!
Trying to migrate from Netware to Suse (SLES 10 sp 1 NOWS SBE 2).
I already changed the my.cnf file:
1.added a datadir=/MySQL/data line
2.removed the comments from all INNOdb lines
The tables on the Netware files are not big
On the SLES server I already see a mysql folder containing
Can someone tell me what happen to the MySQL 5.1.x-beta for Netware
binaries? They aren't in the downloads page anymore.
Thanks

What is NLM?
Netware Loadable Module - how Netware implements a daemon or application that
has to run on the server.
Mark, Netware supports Perl, so you should be able to write a quick perl
script to connect via DBI and issue a shutdown command.

See the InnoDB in Production thread from last week
It's funny you should mention that thread, as it's what peaked my curiosity.
Everyone on the SQLBase forums reckons that NetWare has this limit. The
reason I'm asking for
clarification is that the post in the InnoDB in Production thread did
not mention how the InnoDB
table space was split up
Has anyone any experience of running MySQL on Netware 6? I am thinking
of porting our helpdesk to Netware AMP (Apache/MySQL/PHP) to better
integrate it with eDirectory.
Cheers,

Hi Guys,
The recent launch of MySQL for Netware is ideal for our application ...
We had to do some tests before switching to this version. We installed
MySQL V4 on Netware.
Have done speed-comparison tests on MySQL v/s Microsoft. For some reason;
if we query a record on a non-indexed table

Hi,
We are currently running MySQL on RedHat Linux with great
success. However, we are upgrading our Netware servers to Netware
6. I know MySQL ports to Netware 6, but I am wondering how
MySQL actually runs on Netware 6. Is there anyone out there running
MySQL on Netware 6? If so, how's

Hi!
We are ineterested in the possibility of using MySQL on Netware
plataform.
After visit MySQL website, we've found that you are interested in
someone to do this port.
Our questions are: What are the requeriments to do this? You need
someone to compile the source in a netware platform

I'll bet there are several people in Provo, Utah that could be convinced to
do the port.

NetWare recently (relatively) has added some support for C code running on
the servfer. You should, however, evaluate the NetWare environment
carefully, and take advantage of porting it native to NetWare.
I am sure that you can acquire evaluation software from Novell for NetWare

Hi, new to the list.
I mainly run Novell Netware servers for myself and my customers. I
assume most of you are running Linux and other OS's as well. I do have
a Linux system with MySQL, but because of my lack of Linux knowledge, I
am trying to find out if anyone has a source for MySQL
I implemented something almost identical to this setup in 1999. It worked
well with Netware 4.11 (with IP enabled on the network) and mySQL 3.22.x
running on both a Solaris and FreeBSD box. It should work fine with newer
versions of Netware controlling the network. There are the standard

Again someone is asking for MySQL on Netware. Sorry if
