This patch doesn't seem to work for me. It applied to svn
revision 6759 with only a little fuzz. Normal Myth stuff works
fine. When I hit 'T', I see TXT on on the screen, but I get no text.

Original ebuilds have been installed into /usr/share, I've also checked if
there were files containing myth in another directory.
I've used ./configure --prefix=/usr for compiling. But even if I put a copy
of mythtv folder into /usr/local/share, it's not working.

Say I'm watching a TV show, and I've recorded the tail end of the
previous show. I skip to the next cutpoint (commflagged), but it isn't
in the right place. So I press the skip back button. Instead of
skipping back, it skips forwards again.
Could you describe the fuzziness or post a screenshot? Also, the 0.3.x
dev branch of ivtv give me a better picture, so you may want to try
those.

Sure. The option is there (Import DVD from the Optical Disc menu),
but it does nothing when selected.
Also, in the Media Settings - DVD Settings, there is no longer the
option to tweak your DVD Rip settings (DVD Ripping?). Check out Media

Finally I got my config to work (pvr 250).
Everything went well, until I reboot the computer to see if the configuration
was good.
Now the LiveTV works for 2 seconds only, and then freezes. After some other
seconds, the liveTV module ends up, and it goes back to the main menu.

becasue the mythbackend was starting before the ivtv drivers were loaded. What
I have done at the moment is to disable mythbackend from starting on boot up.
Then I make sure the ivtv drivers are loaded and after they are
just a test to see if I can post because none of my message reach the
