Everything is working great (TV watching works perfectly), except scheduled
recordings always happen on the channel the tuner was last set to, not the
correct channel for the target program.

I went back and took a closer look at what was going on with my system.
It turns out that changing channels wasn't working on live tv. A little
bit of googling turned up the need for a specific option for the driver
(tuner=43 for the winfast tv 2000 xp).

the default settings. I've tried raising the quality setting to no
avail. I was wondering what everyone is using in terms of the encoding

Running SVN 7738 (pre-LiveTV changes) and I find I can't select a
different input. I'm stuck on s-video. This svn version should change
inputs according to channel settings (7525 did, so did 7629). I've also
tried 8095 to no avail.
