Hey Charles,
AFAIK this is a Mono issue. I get the same bad performance on Mono/Windows.
However, I'm sure our implementation can be optimized a lot.

Hello Ryan,
I don't know, but something doesn't sound right. Thanks for pointing it out.
I have provided Dominik with access to TC, and I believe he is going to try
setup the Windows build. Since I didn't receive any offers for Linux, I guess I
will investigate this myself in parallel. This nee
Yeah, but this brings up another issue I've noticed on both Linux and Mac..
It took 1689.9 seconds to build on my Debian box. 1675.7 seconds were
spent on that userdoc section.
What is going on in that userdoc section and why does it take so long
on non-win32 systems?

Yes!
At least I know my setup is working correctly (Windows + NMake + Mono 2.4.3). I
will close the issue as well.
Thanks for helping out.

It's currently stuck on the userdoc portion of the build on my Debian
Test box but the rest of the build went without a hitch. Looks like
you squashed this bug. Good job.
Thanks,
Ryan

I also noticed the README.txt didn't describe all the details.
I was told the NAnt SF page used to contain a few small docs covering release
process, coding guidelines, etc. However these docs disappeared when the
DocManager hosted app was deprecated by SF in late '09.
Today, I have requested S

I have checked the fix into the CVS HEAD, and tested it on my machine. Would
you mind giving it a try at your convenience?
Thanks,

Hey all,
Has anyone had any success build Visual C++ projects with NAnt lately?
I ask because I am trying to look into bug 1599921 but I can't get
VC++ to work properly. I keep getting errors about missing cl
options. It may be my config since I don't work with C++ often but I
thought I would a

Hello Dominik,
I am not familiar with CiFactory mysetlf, but you idea makes sense. The
extensions are as much a part of the user experience as the tool itself. These
extensions increases the power of the tool and help simplify complicated tasks.

Thanks for the pointer. I was using what was in the README.txt file
which only lists the install command.
Thanks,
Ryan
