And after listening to several portions of his other songs/albums, 'The
Apostrophe' is his best work and shows that he really has a good knack for
telling stories. It's a shame that more of his music didn't turn out so well.

Hi,
I have never heard of these high contrast tubes, either, I would be very
interested in a comparing picture... Maybe it refers to the finer grind
of the NL-845, but other types like the NL-840 have a fine grid, too:

material in them. I read through many of the threads here and I know
some are of the opinion that there's no danger with the thorium or the

I have one of these, too, but lacking a datasheet I have not powered it
up...
The seller "electroware" at Ebay (his name is Elemer) has sold some of
these about two years ago, and he also did not have a datasheet..
