I'm using a Canon BJC 6000 and the filter that works for this one is
"Canon BJC 600 and Canon BJC 4000"
The res is set at 360x360, the color settings are set to black and white.
Mostly for speed reasons, however color does work for this filter.

David,
I am assuming that you tried to boot from you Linux boot disk...
When you do that, you will get a Lilo prompt. Just log into linux as root
and run "/boot/grub/./install.sh", No parenthesis. This will re-load Grub
and you will get passed stage1 the next time you logon.
Hope this helps,

I cannot read my LS-120 under Mandrake 7.2 (stock configuration).
It works fine with Red Hat 7.0 (stock).
I saw somewhere reference about IDE problems with a late kernel and wonder if that
might be the cause.
Anyone have any clues?
Thanks.

Try "cat /proc/cpuinfo", or run "ktop" and click on the performance meter
tab. If the system sees two cpu (cpu0 and cpu 1), you should see two meters
for the two cpu's.
