the Kxicq RPM for Redhat 6.1 off of www.kxicq.org and it ran fine.. But on the same
note, Mandrake had already installed Licq so maybe they were already on here.. But

Hmm, yeah the same thing happened to me.. unfortunately the only thing that was
recommended to me was deleting that user and creating a new one..
This actually fixes things.. Don't ask me why cause I don't know... but it works..

Ok, can't help you with your question per se, but just a thought.. Are
you sure your IP isn't static.. I know that on @home your modem has a
static IP and then your computer(s) on the LAN are given dynamic ( or
whatever they're called when they change ) IPs... Just a thought..

I just happen to see a problem with the USB detection of mice on
Mandrake's last minute corrections faq.. So check here and use the patch
and see if that helps.
