Hi,
I'm having a bit of trouble printing under CUPS v1.1.10 on LM 8.1. When I
print a text file, the last line of each page doesn't come out. I believe
this has something to do with the printable area, but how do I configure this?

I do a test page, this is centered correctly. If I

Do the following:
Do not reinstall Linux Mandrake 7.2.
Try to print directly to the laser printer by entering (you can use any
short text file):

If this works (at least some of the text visible), there is a problem
with the printer spooler (CUPS or LPD), otherwise t
Hi all,

working. Would appreciate if anyone can help.
The printer is a Epson Stylus 600. It is connected to a scanner, which in
turn, is connected to the parallel port. It was working fine when I had
LM7.0. It still
Is your printer correctly connected and turned on, is there any ink in

printer to the correct thing, local, remote, samba, etc. You can
reselect the driver and port there to test.

Have a minor printing problem with 6.1, using my Panasonic KX-P2130
dot matrix printer ('cause my Lexmark 3200 is not supported). I have it
set up as an Epson 24-pin, and it works fine with all of the text
editors and Maxwell; using printtool, I generate both text and

I get the same error when trying to print to an HP LaserJet through its
JetDirect card (... connection refused jobs queued...). Been trying to get
it working for quite a while. Tried configuring it as both Win/SMB and
Netware and no dice...

I still cannot, however, print from any other user. I am still getting

command to lp0 just f
