One of my biggest Linux luxuries is the highlight then middleclick
clipboard thingy.
It doesn't work all the time with oo between apps, although within
oo it seems to be 100%.

How much memory do you have? Two of my VMware installs were clunky
until I added memory over 500m.
Sound and speed then went up to normal. I'm using VMware with 3
boxes in the office and my laptop. Very satisfactory to wean
everyone off of win2k.

Take a look at /etc/samba/smb.conf for the line starting workgroup
Well, that didn't turn out so good.
I changed workgroup to home workgroup to match the other boxes and
it interfered with the samba being run by the VMware windows thing.
