After cleaning I just oil the dirty side of the filter, not the clean side.

understanding that it is best to oil & let is set or hang for 1/2 a day. This
allows any excess oil to drip off. I have a couple on cars & need to clean one
of them. That is the way I intend to go about re- oiling.

Not sure. I'm planning to have the wheels balanced with them in, just with
a "spot" over the battery so it won't light up.

I've always wondered how those valvestem lights don't throw off the
balance. They weigh just as much as some wheel weights.

Novice question time, I have an 83 450 with two carbs.
There is a fuel line from the petcock to the carb and also a nipple at the
bottom of the carb. looks like there should be a fuel line attached to the
bottom nipple, but I don't know where the other end would go to?
