Fairing has a crack. Per the forums it can be repaired with jb dwelded or
plastic welded. Is one method any better than the other?

Thanks. Just read about the 84-86 700sc. Sounds like a superior bike to
the 91-03 750. It is not "cheaped out" like the 750. Fuel gauge,center
stand, 6 spd etc. What are the chances of finding a pristine 700s? Red or

it looks pretty similar to my 92 Nighthawk I've got in bits, when look at
the 83 550 parts diagram. Has the same type of seal then the needle
bearing, and that's it. Looking at it I can see how wear on the shaft and
needle bearing could allow oil to get through easily. Hope this helps.
