can use a chisel and a hamm
DEFINITELY make sure you're going in the right direction if you do this.

I didn't see an attached pic on this bog post and I didn't see a
hyperlink or an inline pic either.
Am I doing something wrong that I could not see the Picture of the
17mm bolt (I am verifying the oil pan bolt location on my 84
NightHawk).
