Got in 11,000km on the NH750 last year though, never left Cape Breton

now. Modern tires and rubber and methods and all that.
Rope twist? Yeah, not going to trust that. Vulcanizing internal mushroom
plug? Might as well not be damaged.

Not quite the same league, cost-wise... oil change @ $20 is cheap
insurance, replacing a simple puncture wounded brand new tire @ $120 is
definitely NOT cheap insurance...

1) A full tank of gas limits condensation buildup in the tank, even more
important when temperatures vary.

So I live in Indiana, and there might be days in the winter where its above
50 Degree's..
I have my bike in a garage, and it maintains a constant temp, (as long as
the doors closed)...
its a 85' 650 CC..
what do you guys recommend ?
